Scallywag The Winter Edition is a limited-edition blended malt from Douglas Laing, made mainly from Speyside whiskies.
The whisky is matured in casks that previously held red wine, which gives it depth and a warming character.
The nose offers red berries, cocoa, vanilla, orange peel and cinnamon. The palate is creamy and spicy, with dark chocolate, ripe cherry, cinnamon, nutmeg and brandied fruit. The finish is long, warm and winey.
