Scallywag Winter Edition is a limited release Speyside blended malt from Douglas Laing, finished in Cognac casks. It is one of 5,100 bottles, bottled at a natural cask strength of 54.2% in a 70cl bottle, with no colouring and no chill-filtration.
Scallywag takes its name from the Fox Terriers kept over the years by the Douglas Laing family. The brand is a marriage of aged Speyside single malts matured mainly in Spanish sherry casks, and is known for rich dark fruits, chocolate and spice with late vanilla.
