Scapa 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Islands, bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is orange zest, ripe pear and dried apricot, with cinnamon, mint and gentle oak. Honey and cooked apple lead the palate, over toffee sweetness, malt and a little light pepper, with a creamy mouthfeel.
The finish is long and warming, with salty caramel, gentle grassy notes, delicate peat and soft spice.
