Scapa 16 Year Old is the flagship single malt of the distillery, which looks out over Scapa Flow on Orkney. It was matured in ex-American oak casks and is bottled at 48% ABV.
The nose brings juicy mango, leather, vanilla cream and clementine peel. The palate is silky and creamy, with spiced apple pie, vanilla fudge, smooth oak and baked pineapple with mulled spices.
The finish is complex, fruity and gently spiced.
