Scapa – 2003 Vintage Edition 19 Year Old is a single malt whisky from Scapa (Island). Aged 19 years, bottled at 56.7% ABV, 70cl. Matured in first-fill American oak barrels.
The third legal distillery to be built on the Orkney Isles, established in 1885 and today part of the Pernod Ricard Scotch whisky holdings. It is notable for its experimentation with Lomond stills under Hiram Walker ownership, an continues to use these today (albeit without the rectifying plates).
