Scapa – 21 Year Old Orkney Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 48%)

Scapa 21 Year Old is an unpeated single malt from Scapa Distillery on the Isle of Orkney, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It leads the distillery's Signature Collection, a permanent range launched in November 2024 and the first since 1885. The whisky was matured exclusively in first-fill ex-American oak barrels in Orkney warehouses. The distillery overlooks Scapa Flow and runs a rare Lomond wash still with an extended fermentation. On the nose come apricot jam, fresh raspberries, ripe bananas, whipped cream and nutmeg. The palate brings peaches, mangoes, vanilla cream, condensed milk and buttery shortbread with cardamom and cinnamon, and the finish is sweet and syrupy with lingering tropical fruit and gentle spice.
