Scapa Skiren is a single malt from Scapa, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. The name means slightly cloudy in Scots Gaelic and comes from the Norse influence of Viking times.
The nose is dark, with Orkney heather, honey and nuts. The palate is robust but very pleasant, with sea salt, pepper and oak from the cask. The finish is long and malty, with salt and hazelnuts.
