Scapegrace Blood Orange Gin (70cl, 41.6%)

Scapegrace Blood Orange Gin is a small-batch, hand-crafted distilled gin from New Zealand, flavoured with New Zealand blood oranges, fresh raspberries and kaffir lime. It combines dried and fresh botanicals, and is bottled at 41.6% in a 70cl bottle. Its deep red colour comes from natural ingredients, including aronia berries and butterfly pea flower alongside the blood oranges, which sets it apart from conventional clear gins. The nose is bright and tropical, with orange peel, citrus leaf and berries. The palate is textured and juicy, opening with blood orange flesh before moving to resinous juniper and fresh mint. The finish is dry, crisp and peppery, with lingering citrus oils and tropical notes.
