A three year old single malt from Scapegrace in New Zealand, released as Chorus in the Limited Editions range as Release II. It was matured in virgin French oak and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, with an outturn of 7,824 bottles. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered.
Citrus blossom and poached pears sit alongside freshly cut oak, red berries and cinnamon pastries on the nose. The palate brings caramel stroopwafel, apple and berry compote with mint, then oak, vanilla and wood spice. Berries and mint meet oak and bright spice in a medium finish.
