Schenley Champion is an Indiana straight bourbon aged for eight years. It was distilled in 1962 and bottled in 1970 at 43% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. Schenley was organised in 1920 by Louis Rosenstiel as the Cincinnati Distributing Corp, and was one of six companies licensed by the US government to bottle medicinal whiskey. By 1933 it owned a number of distilleries, among them the Squibb distillery in Indiana. Rosenstiel sold his controlling stake to the Glen Alden company in 1968.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
