This Schenley Champion is an eight year old Indiana straight bourbon, distilled in 1964 and bottled in 1972. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The Schenley company was organised in 1920 by Louis Rosenstiel as the Cincinnati Distributing Corp. In the same year he acquired the Joseph S. Finch distillery in Pennsylvania along with its Golden Wedding brand, which became one of Schenley's flagship labels. Brands such as I.W. Harper and Cream of Kentucky later helped the company dominate much of the American whiskey market for four decades.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
