Celeste Rosso is an Italian red wine based on Sangiovese, Primitivo and Merlot, giving a harmonious and fruity wine. It has a light, spicy style with notes of cherry, blackberry and sun-ripened raspberry, a charming fullness and an easy lightness that carries through from start to finish. The wine ends with a long, full finish. Italy's wine production goes far back, with Greek and Roman influence and later monastic development, and today about 792,000 ha of vineyards are spread across the country, with Piemonte, Veneto and Toscana among the best known regions.
