Seagram's 7 Crown is an American blended whiskey in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. The Seagram Company introduced it in 1934, shortly after Prohibition ended, and the brand is now owned by Diageo.
The whiskey is distilled at MGP of Indiana, then blended and bottled in Norwalk, Connecticut. It combines roughly 25% straight whiskey with 75% grain neutral spirits.
The nose is clean, with almond, caramel and a little citrus. The palate is light and smooth, with brown sugar, corn sweetness, white pepper and light oak. The finish runs short to medium, with creamy vanilla and a touch of menthol.
