Crown Royal Fine De Luxe is a blended Canadian whisky from Seagram's, distilled in 1970 and bottled at 40% ABV in a one-litre bottle. The tax strip states that the youngest vintage in the blend dates from 1970. Joseph E. Seagram produced it at their Crown Royal distillery in Gimli, Manitoba, which opened in 1968. Diageo bought the brand and distillery after Seagram was dissolved in the early 2000s and still produces it there. Crown Royal is described as North America's best-selling Canadian whisky.
