This is a five-year-old Speyside single malt from Glen Grant, a Seagram's bottling distilled in 1978 and bottled in 1983. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
It was officially imported onto the Italian market by Seagram's in Milan. The agent Armando Giovinetti promoted Glen Grant heavily in Italy around this period, believing that younger expressions would compete well with his countrymen's taste for grappa. Glen Grant 5 Year Old remains the best-selling single malt in Italy.
