This is a 9 year old Glenfarclas bottled under the Secret Distillery #1 name by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. It was distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2017 from a sherry cask at 60.5% abv, in a 50cl bottle.
Glenfarclas is an independent distillery in Ballindaloch, in Speyside.
The nose combines salted butter caramel and bitter orange with mango, guava, red fruit and later pepper and cinnamon. The palate starts spicy, then turns malty with banana and pineapple, rosemary and thyme, and Morello cherry. The finish is long and silky, with vanilla, praline and gentian.
