A 2009 Speyside single malt from an undisclosed distillery, bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd. After more than 15 years of maturation it was given a final period in a small, fresh Marsala cask.
Tasting notes describe a very full-bodied whisky with syrupy fruit on the palate: dark cherries, autumn apples, a little marzipan and toasted oak. Honey and candied orange sit alongside leather, and the finish is exceptionally long.
