This is a single malt from Miltonduff distillery, distilled in 1991 and matured for 32 years in American oak barrels. It is bottled by Secret Speyside as part of its Vintages Collection, at 43.8% ABV in a 700ml bottle, without chill filtration.
Miltonduff was founded in 1824 and sits in the Pluscarden valley in Speyside.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with nectarine, ripe mango, vanilla and marzipan. On the palate there is melon and spiced pear, followed by lemon meringue and hazelnut. The finish is smooth and slightly dry.
