A single malt from Glenglassaugh in the Highlands, bottled by Secret Spirits under the name Auchinderom. It was distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2019 at eight years old, at a cask strength of 58.3% in a 70cl bottle. The colour is natural and the whisky is not chill-filtered.
The whisky was finished in Sauternes casks.
The nose is led by peat, with burning pine, campfire timber and burnt orange. The palate is full, with peat smoke, wood, salty sea air and sweet orange. The finish is long, with peat, salt and a touch of warming spice.
