This is a Royal Brackla 12 Year Old from Secret Spirits, the bottler founded by Jonathan and Cindy Bray. It was matured in a single bourbon barrel and bottled at a cask strength of 57.5% in a 70cl bottle. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
Apples, pears and green grapes with sweet butterscotch make up the nose. The palate has a waxy mouthfeel, with tobacco and fruit. As the heat fades, nutty and earthy notes lead to a sweet, floral finish.
