Reserva Heredad is the flagship Cava from Segura Viudas, a Brut sparkling wine in a 75cl bottle at 12% ABV. It is built on a blend led by Macabeo with Chardonnay, and spends more than 24 months on its lees.
Nine separately vinified wines go into the blend, and each bottle is finished with a final poignettage to deepen the bouquet.
The mousse is fine and plentiful, with gentle smoky notes of biscuit and bread, then honey, dried fruit and flower petals. The palate is fruity and full, with polished dried-fruit character and an elegant finish.
