Seven Seals Peated Port Wood Finish Swiss Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

This is a Swiss single malt from Seven Seals, finished in port wood and made by combining different malts from the same distillery. It is bottled at 46% vol. in a 70cl bottle. Peat smoke is present as a hint, alongside sweet honey, dried fruit, roasted nuts and gingerbread, with various spices rounding it off. The nose is complex and multi-layered, with clear port aromas and a touch of peat. The palate is warming, rich and full-bodied, with honey, dried fruit, roasted nuts and gingerbread. The finish is long and savoury, with a range of spice notes.
