Sextro Rye Red Label is an Iowa rye whiskey made from 100% rye grain, in a 75cl bottle. It is the Private Reserve of Iowa Legendary Rye, a small distillery in Carroll, Iowa, reviving the Prohibition-era rye of Lorine Sextro.
The whiskey is aged for at least 18 months in two used oak barrels in Carroll County. It is distilled in small replica pot stills, using rye and water drawn only from Carroll and Crawford counties, and the bottles are filled by hand.
