This is a 14 year old single grain Scotch whisky from North British, bottled by the German independent bottler Sexywhisky under the name 'Korean Beauty'. It was distilled in 2008, matured in a bourbon barrel and bottled in 2023 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The barrel yielded 28 bottles, and this is one of them.
North British distillery was founded in Edinburgh in 1885. Andrew Usher, William Sanderson, John Crabbie and James Watson joined forces to build it, giving blenders an alternative source of grain. It is now jointly owned by two of Scotland's largest distillers.
