This is a four grain whiskey from Shady Knoll Orchard and Distillery in Millbrook, in New York's Hudson Valley. Shady Knoll is family-owned and run by the Kneipper-Richards family. They grow their own apples and rye, which go into their rye whiskies and apple brandies. All whiskey production takes place on site, and the spirit is distilled in French alembic pot stills.
