Sheep Dip 75cl is a whisky. Bottled at 40% ABV, 75cl. In 2005, Alex Nicol - former executive director with numerous drinks giants such as Beefeater Gin, Glenmorangie, and Cadbury Schweppes - decided to set up Spencerfield Spirits with his wife Jane Eastwood in order to produce and sell a selection of blended malts. With the help of Whyte & Mackay master blender, Richard Paterson, Sheep Dip (blended malt), Pig’s Nose (blended Scotch), and the Feathery (Sherry cask-matured blended malt) were all added to the Spencerfield inventory. In 2016, the company was bought by Ian Macleod Distillers with their connected Edinburgh-based distilleries being transferred to the Glengoyne and Tamdhu owners and the blend-makers themselves ceasing business.
