Shibui 10 Year is a Japanese pure malt whisky aged for ten years. The name Shibui translates as understated beauty.
It is described as smooth and layered, with a silky texture that balances delicate sweetness against gentle oak.
The nose offers honey, soft malt, vanilla and light orchard fruits. On the palate come caramel sweetness, toasted grain, gentle oak and hints of citrus and spice. The finish is clean, with lingering sweetness, soft oak and a touch of dryness.
