Shibui 10 Year Pure Malt Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Shibui 10 Year is a pure malt whisky in the Japanese style, aged for ten years in a blend of ex-bourbon, oloroso sherry and mizunara oak casks. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Each cask has its part: ex-bourbon for vanilla, oloroso sherry for dried fruit, and mizunara oak for a sandalwood character. The nose is coffee and chocolate intertwined with raisins and plums, with a hint of cereal. The palate is soft and elegant, with malt, dried fruit, cinnamon and white pepper, and the finish is long and refined.
