Shibui 18 Year is a Japanese single grain whisky, bottled at 43% in a 750ml bottle. It was aged for 18 years entirely in sherry casks, including manzanilla and fino.
The nose is milk chocolate with soft cereal and caramelised walnuts. The palate brings chocolate-covered red cherries, Madagascan vanilla bean and black liquorice, and the finish is soft, sweet oak with a lingering nuttiness.
