Shibui 8 Year Old is a Japanese single grain whisky, matured for eight years in sherry casks only, including manzanilla and fino. It is a small batch release, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is grilled pineapple with ice cream. On the palate, Bananas Foster and grilled pineapple meet sweet toasted oak and spice. The finish is long and soft, with a complex, well-structured taste.
