Shibui Grain Select Whisky (75cl, 43%)

Shibui Grain Select is a wheat-dominant Japanese blended grain whisky from Niigata, bottled at 43% in a 750ml bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. It combines Niigata Japanese grain whisky with Lowland Scotch grain whisky, made from 95% wheat and 5% malted barley. The whisky was matured in American ex-bourbon barrels and European oloroso sherry casks, then finished in Japanese mizunara oak. The nose is a light floral bouquet with gentle cereal. On the palate there is cereal, coconut and bright tropical fruit, and the finish is peppery-sweet.
