Shinobu Pure Malt 10 Years is a Japanese malt whisky in a 70cl bottle. The distillery is in Niigata prefecture, and the name Shinobu means "tolerance" in Japanese. The whisky is matured for ten years, first in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks and then in Japanese Mizunara oak. The nose offers fresh floral and citrus notes alongside wood, coffee and vanilla, with a sweet malty aftertaste. The finish carries coffee and toasted oak.
