Shinobu Pure Malt Whisky Mizunara Oak is a Japanese blended malt without an age statement, made from carefully selected whiskies from different distilleries.
The whiskies are first held in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, then finished in Japanese Mizunara oak in Japan.
The nose brings candied orange peel, toffee, sweet smoke and toasted hazelnuts, with herbal tea and spice alongside. The palate is mellow and fruit-forward, and the finish carries pepper and spice.
