A red wine from Solandia, blending Shiraz with the native Nero d'Avola. On the nose it shows ripe red fruits, sweet spices and a light hint of vanilla from careful ageing in wood. On the palate it is robust and well structured, with soft, well-integrated tannins, leading to a persistent and pleasantly spicy finish. It suits rich meat dishes, spicy food and aged cheeses, and is best served at about 18°C.
