Shortcross 5 Year Old Peated Single Malt Irish Whiskey (75cl, 46%)

Shortcross 5 Year Old is a peated Irish whiskey, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It blends single pot still and single malt whiskies, matured at the Rademon Estate Distillery in Northern Ireland. It is the first Irish whiskey from a new distillery in Northern Ireland since the 1920s, and the first released from outside Old Bushmills since the Old Comber and Coleraine distilleries closed. The nose is described as honey, graham cracker, dried orange and mild spices, with gentle chocolatey peat smoke. On the palate come melted milk chocolate, chewy toffee, roasted spices and black forest gateau, finishing on chocolate brownies and soft bonfire smoke.
