Shunka Shuto Spring is a Japanese blended whisky, the Hanami expression in the Four Seasons collection, named for the cherry-blossom-viewing season. It combines malt and grain whiskies with a high proportion of malt, married and aged in used bourbon barrels of American white oak. It is bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is light and floral with pear. On the palate it is mild and fruity, with juicy fruit, light honey, shortbread and a faint note of biscuit.
