Sideburn 31 Year Old is a blended malt released as Whisky Sponge Edition No.95. It is a small batch, multi-vintage bottling that marries a 1992 second-fill barrel with a 1993 first-fill barrel, bottled at a natural cask strength of 51.4%.
The nose is deep with honey, ripe green and yellow fruits, cereals and malt, plus custard, dessert wine, citrus and wax. The palate brings honey, sweet wine, wax, pollen, beeswax, dried exotic fruits and citrus marmalade. The finish is long, led by honey and fruit.
