A 1998 Ayrshire grain whisky from Signatory, in a 70cl bottle. It is sunflower oil in colour.
The nose is crisp and delicate, with white grapes, white pepper, pears and icing sugar. Roasted notes from the barrel add body and edge, alongside a little lime and a slick, margarine-like note, and it settles towards creamed coconut.
The palate is light and refreshing, with green apples, a squeeze of pear, pencil shavings and a little more citrus.
