A 13 year old Glenburgie single malt from Speyside, bottled by Single Cask Nation in a 70cl bottle. Spanish oak gives it a spiciness on the palate.
The nose opens with toffee and hazelnuts, a crème brûlée crust and nougat, with wood spice, cinnamon sticks and incense building behind. On the palate, garam masala, incense and cedar sit alongside toffee and toasted hazelnuts, with ground ginger and grey pepper towards the back. The finish is warm and drying, yet still pleasantly sweet.
