This is an 18 year old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, bottled by Single Cask Nation in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is warm and comforting, with pecan pie, muscovado sugar, damp earth, toasted wholewheat bread, chocolate-covered orange peel and oak spice. The palate keeps the dark, earthy character, with damp earth, pecan pie and charred oak, plus toasted hazelnuts and penuche fudge.
The finish stays comforting to the end, with ground grey pepper, cocoa powder and roasted coffee beans.
