Singleton of Dufftown 17 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the 2020 Special Release series, a limited edition bottled in 2020 at a cask strength of 55.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in refill American oak hogsheads.
The nose offers ripe peach and dried apricot, red berries with clove and fresh mint, and subtle toasted oak. On the palate are honeyed nuts, creamy caramel, zesty orange peel, dark chocolate and spiced vanilla, with a velvety texture.
The finish is long and warming, with sweet cinnamon and gentle oak.
