Singleton of Glendullan 12 Year is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml bottle after twelve years in oak. Glendullan was founded in 1897 in Dufftown and is part of the Diageo portfolio.
Its character owes much to a 75-hour fermentation, well beyond the industry average, which gives a light body and orchard-fruit sweetness.
The nose combines soft vanilla, dried fruit, toasted malt and honey. On the palate come ripe apple and caramelised pear, then creamy caramel, oak and a little cinnamon. The finish is medium, drying to toffee, toasted oak and baking spice.
