SirDavis is an American rye whiskey created by Beyoncé together with Bill Lumsden. It is named after her great-grandfather, who according to family lore was a skilled distiller in Alabama.
The whiskey is MGP Indiana-distilled rye with a mash bill of 51% rye and 49% malted barley. The blend of barrels is finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry butts.
The sweetness of the sherry rounds out the palate without masking the flavour of the grains.
