Slane Triple Casked is a blended Irish whiskey made in County Meath. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey matures in three types of cask: new American oak that is heavily toasted and medium charred, former Tennessee whiskey casks, and oloroso sherry casks. Malt and pot still whiskeys are triple distilled in copper stills before blending.
On the nose there is vanilla, caramel, toffee and ripe banana, with toasted cereal. The palate is round, with Demerara sugar, caramel, vanilla and butterscotch. The finish is soft, with dried fruit and baking spices.
