Smith & Wesson 7 Year is an American straight bourbon with a seven-year age statement, matured in new charred American oak barrels and sold in a 750ml bottle. The label carries vintage portrait artwork and ornate crest detailing.
The nose opens with vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, maple syrup and roasted pecans, with cinnamon, leather and baking spice behind. The palate is smooth and layered, with caramel, brown sugar, honey, dark fruit, roasted nuts and black pepper. The finish is long and warming, with sweet oak, toasted almonds and a gentle smoky edge.
