Smoke Wagon Bottled In Bond Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

This is Smoke Wagon's first bottled-in-bond whiskey, a straight rye in a 75cl bottle at 50% ABV. It was aged for at least four years in a bonded warehouse and comes from a single distilling season. The whiskey was distilled in Indiana, then aged and bottled by Nevada H&C Distilling Co. in Las Vegas. The brand gives the mash bill as 51% rye and 49% malted barley. The nose is described as deep caramel, rye spice, toasted oak and citrus. The palate is creamy, with fruit and candy notes, honey, black pepper and vanilla. The finish is bold, spicy and warming, and it lingers.
