Smoke Wagon Christmas Edition 2023 is a straight bourbon from Nevada H&C Distilling Co. in Las Vegas, bottled at 46.25% ABV (92.5 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The liquid is the standard Smoke Wagon Straight Bourbon, released in holiday packaging. It is made from a high-rye mash bill, with barrels racked on the top two floors of the warehouse and never rotated. It is non-chill filtered. The nose is honey and toasted nuts with some oak and heat. The palate is creamy, with honey and caramel, then nuts, oak and pepper spice from the rye. The finish is a coating, creamy sweetness followed by oak and lingering pepper.
