Smoke Wagon Uncut The Younger is a bourbon from Nevada H&C Distilling Co. in Las Vegas, bottled at 57.25% in a 75cl bottle. It is the cask-strength companion to the brand's core Straight Bourbon, aged for a minimum of four years. The mash bill is 60% corn, 36% rye and 4% barley. Aaron Chepenik blended it to be fruit-forward with a cinnamon-spice edge, balancing the younger barrels, and it is bottled uncut and non-chill filtered. The nose is typically described as caramel, toasted oak, vanilla, cinnamon, white pepper and apple pie. On the palate come heavy rye spice, pepper, a hint of smoke and sweet caramel, and the finish is big and oily, with black pepper, charred oak and cherry candy.
