Smokehead 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt from the Ian Macleod range, bottled in a 70cl bottle with a fifteen-year age statement.
It keeps the peaty, smoky character the brand is known for, with a more mature, forceful and complex style than its name might first suggest.
The notes describe campfire smoke with rosemary and thyme, then peat with citrus fruit and vanilla. The finish is very long, with lemon, sea spray and smoke.
