Smokehead Unfiltered is a peated Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and bottled at a fairly high strength, which keeps the character of the whisky intact. The nose opens with smoke and peat, followed by ripe fruit and a light touch of iodine. The palate is full and vigorous, moving through bitter chocolate, vanilla, espresso and treacle. The finish is smoky and lingers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
